Professional Experience

2003-Present:        Principal, Robert Marker Architect - Mount Joy, PA

Current and recent projects include the Mount Joy Historical Society Schoolhouse restoration project, the Stevens and Smith Historic Site at the Lancaster County Convention Center (as a consulting Project Architect with Community Heritage Partners;) addition to St. Luke's Church in Mount Joy, PA,  and numerous residential projects (new houses, additions and renovations)

1993-2003:        Founding Partner, Panoptic Studios, LLC.   Mount Joy, PA and Titusville, NJ

Panoptic Studios provided design, digital construction and animation for virtual structures, environments and stage sets for computer games and video productions.  Credits include game titles such as "Sim City" and "Lord of the Rings-Battle for Middle Earth"   (See www.panoptic.cc for a portfolio of Panoptic work.)

1993-2004:          Freelance and Contract work: Various Architectural Projects

1989-1993:          Project Manager, Lyman Perry Architects, Berwyn PA

Provided design and project management for numerous high end single family residences and vacation homes in diverse locations including Nantucket, Cape Cod, and Philadelphia.  Also designed and managed projects for several commercial / industrial clients.

1980-1989:          Staff Architect, Venturi, Scott-Brown and Associates

Assisted with design, construction documentation and construction supervision for various high profile institutional clients, including the National Gallery in London, Princeton University, Swarthmore College, and the Philadelphia Zoo.
